ATLANTIC CITY ALUMNI
Our Chapter
The Diamond of the Shore
The original vision for an Atlantic City chapter occurred more than 40 years ago, but the energy to bring the vision to fruition was not in place. However, in 2002, the energy and commitment needed to make the vision a reality came with a spirited group of brothers who shared the same focus and dreams.
These men held twice-monthly meetings for a year at the PleasanTech Academy Charter School in Pleasantville, NJ to ensure that a chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. would be established in Atlantic City.

On January 22, 2003, after working diligently to meet all of the Fraternity's strict requirements, the chapters 10 Founding Brothers culminated all of their hard work by submitting the last piece of the puzzle, the charter application to Northeastern Province Polemarch Brother Michael Brewington. These brothers were:
Barry Spratt* - Polemarch
Martin Rodriguez - Vice Polemarch
Stephen Townsend - Keeper of Records
Darren Clinkscale - Keeper of Exchequer
Wilbur E. Fields - Historian
Norris Hite, Jr. - Reporter
Charles Odoom - Guide Right Chair
Nicholas White - Social Action Chair
Michael Collins - Guide Right Committee
Dr. Blair Bergen - Guide Right Committee
* Chapter Invisible (deceased)
The Atlantic City (NJ) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. became a reality when it was chartered March 1, 2003, in a formal ceremony at Richard Stockton College in Pomona, NJ. The chapter was chartered with thirteen brothers: the ten founding brothers, along with Kenny “Smooth” Hill, a 50-year member of the fraternity; Brother Captain Henry White; and Brother Lee Washington. All thirteen brothers shared the same dedication and commitment to the bond.
